Hi Roger,

I posted a link in response to your topic several months ago, so sorry for
the duplication for some members.

Background: I entered into conversation with several colleagues whose
organization (huge global player) does Lean and teaches Lean to suppliers.
We considered the possible intersect points of AI and Lean Manufacturing.
So here’s the link to my musings.
http://positivematrix.dnsalias.com:8098/blog/blog-musings/lean-manufacturing
-kaizen-and-ai.html
Haven’t implemented it, but it was a fun intellectual exercise!

If you have a created a separate folder for your AI listserv and click on
the subject line in the email header, you'll pull up 6 prior entries on this
topic.

Kind regards,

Robyn.

Subject: [Ailist] Lean manufacturing and AI

Has anyone done an inquiry with senior management that supports the
implementation of Lean manufacturing? If so what was the focus of the
inquiry? I am thinking of a few possibilities myself but if anyone has any
suggestions I would be pleased to hear them.

Thanks

Roger
