Thanks for the reminder of the metaphor of Indra's Net. 

It is a metaphor I remember David bringing to conversations when a group of 
us got together to talk about lifting AI up to the world – this led to the 
creation of Appreciative Inquiry Consulting (AIC LLC).   The vestiges of those 
early conversations are still there for me in AIC's Purpose and Principles which 
can be seen at http://www.aiconsulting.org/principles.htm.

I am also finding the image of Indra's Net powerful in conversations about 
whole systems change with consultants and business leaders. This metaphor for a 
web of relationships that sparkle, flourish and amplify highlights that 
whatever we do has an impact on others even if we can't see it directly. The sense 
of awe in that seems to place even more need to be mindful about what we do and 
where we focus our attention. Conversations can then be about: What is it we 
really need to do here to help relationships sparkle, flourish and amplify?
