Dear Colleagues:

 

The Appreciative Inquiry Foundations course offered by the NTL Institute for
Applied Behavioral Science will take place October 27 to November 2 at the
Bolger Center in Maryland just outside Washington, DC. NTL Members and long
time AI practitioners and teachers, Jane Magruder Watkins (author of
Appreciative Inquiry: Change at the Speed of Imagination) and Tom Osborn
will be the facilitators for the course. 

 

This 6 ½ day Foundations course is designed for Consultants and
organizational leaders who want a comprehensive knowledge in both the theory
and practice of Appreciative Inquiry in order to understand multiple ways to
use AI in their life and work. Since 1994, NTL has offered this course as a
cutting-edge new approach to Organization Development. Since that beginning,
AI has spread around the globe and is being used for all levels of
organization change in corporations, not-for-profits and government sectors.


 

In 2005, NTL in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University created a
Certificate Program for those who want to learn Appreciative Inquiry in
depth (go to ntl.org, select “graduate and certificate programs”, select
“Appreciative Inquiry certificate program” and download the AI Certificate
brochure for more information.) 

 

The October program can be taken as a stand alone program or as the 1st of 6
programs in the AI Certificate Track. Participants also have the option of
deciding at the end of the program whether they would like to join the Track
and, if so, they can apply the cost of the Foundations course to the cost of
the Track.
