I am preparing to write a book review for an academic journal. Instead
of the traditional critical approach of writing a book review that I
have taken in the past, I would like to take an AI approach. Any
suggestions as to the approach? Thanks in advance.

Ray,

In group settings, I use a structure for appreciative feedback using the
following questions:

What thrilled you?

What surprised you?

What learning can you use right now?

What has made you think in a new way?

What do you wish now ?

These might not be the most expected kinds of questions for an academic
journal, but I think you could adapt them for that use perhaps by contextualizing
them with the subject area of the book and its intended purpose.
