Plenty of four quadrant models perhaps because they often result from
attempts to simplify the relationship between two variables along X and
Y axis. Four quadrants can represent:
- low X value + low Y value
- high X value + low Y value
- low X valuen + high Y value
- high X value + high Y value
However, other four quadrant models can represent the aggregate effect
of four independent variables. However, in this case there is no reason
why there has to be four quadrants.
