Hello Everyone:
Please mark your calendars and join us for the next meeting of the New York
Appreciative Inquiry Special Interest Group through the Organizational
Development Network of New York, Thursday, May 3, 2007.
Come be a part of creating a wave of appreciation and connection throughout
the NY Metropolitan Area.
Your planning team for the May 3 meeting, Frank Basler, Judy Katz, and Robyn
Stratton-Berkessel,
has met and will facilitate a process to accomplish the following purposes:
-- Renew our mission statement for NYAISIG
-- Organize interest or action groups
-- Demonstrate a handy/dandy design for helping a group write its mission --
and, demonstrate the use of Open Space methods for helping a group
self-organize.
Our Agenda will include:
- Introducing new members/attendees
- Reviewing the minutes of our the Feb. 20 meeting in which we did some
dreaming/visioning about NYAISIG's future
- Developing 2-4 drafts of a mission statement and finding volunteers to
craft a single draft for approval next time
- Self-organizing into interest or action groups to implement the vision and
mission and, as an important by-product, take responsibility for future
meetings.
The next meeting will take place on:

Street , Room 610 (6th Floor) (The Round Table Room for those of you who
have been there before)

exploration and application of the Appreciative Inquiry Philosophical Approach
along with other positive/collaboratpositive/collaborat<WBR>ive ap around change
and transformation. It is our hope to create a supportive community of
practitioners to bring more of these approaches into New York City and Area
Organizations.
How do I set up my Yahoo! Groups account? Joining Yahoo! Groups is
