Hello Olga
I did a phd using a social constructionist theory - positioning theory -
that I suggest is similar to AI. I have written a paper trying to
incorporate the two.
Of interest to you is that my PhD involved interviews with CEOs about
how they deal with sustainability (environmental/social) issues and I
used a positioning theory framework to analyse the data. Sadly, I did
not learn of AI until after I completed the PhD. So, there is no
reference to AI in that work. You can read my PhD in MS Word at
http://intergon.net/phd (lots of other links there too) - the missing
chapters can be emailed if you are interested (due to the interview data
in them I chose to distribute them selectively).
The paper I wrote incorporating AI and positioning theory is:
"Harnessing Hope to Enable Opportunity", in Women and Work Research
Monograph, Fastineau, M. and Charlesworth, S. (eds), RMIT Publishing,
2005
I can email you a pdf tomorrow from my university PC.

Hi. I am new suscriber to this list having recently completed an
on-line I-COHERE course with David Cooperrider.
I am a lawyer with a Masters in Public Policy and 15 years experience in
international development (mainly World Bank and UN). I currently teach
Environmental Policy at a natural resources focused university in Costa
Rica and I am interested in persuing a PhD.
The theme that I am passionate about is how an environmental conflict,
approached as an apprecitation of scarce natural resources within a
landscape, can lead to strengthening of equity and democratic values. I
am interested in doing my research in Latin America.
I would very much appreciate guidance from list suscribers on
practitioners with this focus, studies, publications or faculty that
would share my passion.
Thank you very much.
