Hi Lyn
I suggest you go to the Appreciative Inquiry Commons
http://appreciativeinquiry.case.edu/ and search for Bushe. That will
take you to a number of entries on Gervase Bushe's work. Among them
is a chapter from his Clear Leadership. I keep on finding the book
really useful. I don't know how it would be just to read this
chapter without reading the larger context the book provides. I
believe the text of two or three of Bushe's articles on teams also is
on the AI Commons.
I keep finding Bushe's work useful in my integration of AI and the
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for my work with leaders and their
teams. What I find myself returning to is the great collection of
analytical "tools" in Clear Leadership. I also value Bushe's
understanding of personal/interpersonal issues that is at the core of
his book. The articles on his work with teams were helpful to me as
I began my effort to take what I was reading about use of AI in large
groups to the team level.
I hope this reference to Bushe's work is useful. Please let us know
if you find other useful sources for using AI in team building.
Best to you,
David
