Dear Richard,

What a timely request.

The November issue of the AI Practitioner will be focused on "Life
Long Learning and Education:On the Road to Finding Out"
The issue is divided into two sections- one on theory and the other
on practice.

The cases are divided between University settings With titles like
" Learning for Distributive Leadership" at West Chester
University,"AI and Faculty Development "at LaSalle University and
"Transformative Leadership Development for College Undergraduates"
at Ryder University. An innovative program in another University
setting: Integrating Life and Learning: "An Account of Academic and
Practical Change in a Graduate Education Context"

There are an equal number of stories from schools in Canada, the USA
and U.K. All of these cases highlight use of Appreciative Inquiry in
cities, towns and school district.

Steve Pyser and I are editing the November issue. We hope you enjoy
it and find it useful

Marge Schiller

a Strategic Planning Process Jackie Stavros and I will be conducting

We will be using the SOAR (Strengths,Opportunities, Aspirations and
Results) approach
