[Ailist] anger

Deb,

I agree that anger is a valid emotion and is separate from the
behavior/reactions that we may have while "feeling" the emotion. I have found
most want their feelings to be acknowledged so that they can move forward
with whatever path they choose in dealing with the emotion. Acknowledgment is
a crucial step that follows awareness for me. And applying any process (AI or
other) would then follow. I agree that the emotion may hinder forward
movement if not recognized and honored with the individual. I have witnessed
this with rehab groups that I work with and seen just how powerful AI has
been with empowering them and getting them out of a "spinning" cycle. Thanks
for offering your views on this.
