I learned a tiny addition to this. If I will be saying something about the
person on my left, I want to say it BEFORE I receive appreciation from the
person on my right.

Otherwise I'm still thinking about what to say while I'm trying to hear
(and take in) what is being said to me.

Therefore we take our turns around the circle toward the right. And each of
us gets a reward for what we say: it comes back to us immediately from
someone else!
